The vivid polychrome paintings depict cattle in ceremonial robes, herders, and wild animals across a series of granite alcoves rising from the dry riverbed. Located just 50 km from Hargeisa along the Berbera road, the site offers a breathtaking window into ancient pastoral life in what was once a lush, green Somaliland.
